if this takes place in 1967 Tony would be only 7-8 yrs old not 18 like this trailer is revealing ???

Dr. Melfi got it right with all the "mother" references. Livia is an image of Carm!
The new soprano season is coming after this movie you can bet on it.
I dont know. Doesnt look bad but neither strong enough to carry the Sopranos legacy. Btw, why are so few actors who are actually of Italian ancestry?
This film is gonna be DA SHIEET!
"Dickie, I just go this jacket" - Paulie Walnuts 100%
What I like is that you can watch this independent of the show that spawned it.
The Sopranos sucked ass and not in a good way.
Visually, this is very impressive!
Sources have already come out and said that this movie is a prequel to a new series starring Michael Gandolfini as a young Tony Soprano. It is written by David Chase and will be on HBO next year or 2023.
So much foreshadowing... can't.. stand.. it..
Looks and sounds like his dad love it
Nivola (the guy playing Dickie) could have totally played a young Richie Aprile.
Yeah, you're right.
That's a good call, Elton John.
I cant wait!
omg little baby Christopher yesss lol
Still looks like shit
Awesome. Glad to see it was qritten by favid chase!
..this movie will work if it is stand alone, so non-Sopranos fans can watch it and not be confused... if there is too much story here to tell, it should have been a 6 part 1 hr series on HBO Max....
Hope you're proud Jimmy???
I am so fucking excited
I like the Sopranos but this is looking a little overrated. Probably better as a series
@Pe Ba I'm already at home.......don't get upset just because a person has an opinion. I know your father was a drunk so you didn't have a man to raise your properly, so I'm gonna spare you this time
Over rated? With two trailers. Go home lol
We all now know why that baby Chris was crying …
what song is this? because it's awesome.
'Money' by The Flying Lizards
Dicky never had the makings of a varsity junkie
"Look at little Tony Soprano junior... gonna cry?" -Bully Maguire
1967 Newark Riots are the background I think it's set in.
This really feels like it should be a series instead of a movie.
@The Kids Nice awesome!! Thanks for the heads up!! Sweet!
@G Jackson therrs going to be a series about young Tony. It’s going to premiere on HBO in 2022-2023
Thank you, my sentiments exactly
I agree 100%
Maybe it'll become a mini series?
I thought that was my man McLovin from Superbad in the thumbnail.
Joan Cusack hasn't aged a day
That's Paulie with yellow jacket
Nice touch the crying baby and grandmas baby wisdom (or absolute bullshitt)
But, The Flying Lizards? Really? They were around like 1979 (I bought their casette!) Is that when this is supposed to be taking place?
The scene with teenage Tony are set 'in the 70s.' Not sure which years though.
Can not wait to see this
Something about this rubs me the wrong way
I dunno if it rubs me the wrong way but I think people are expecting a lot from it and are going to be disappointed.
@mike ceriello the more I think about it the more I feel as though its just trying to look cool. It looks bad, to me. You're not alone lol
Glad I’m not the only one.
That Christopher baby scene hits deep.
Casting. It's very important. Yeeeahh............
@The Conscious Observer There are scenes set in the sixties and seventies.
@Mark Thompson 1967. Because that was the year of the New Jersey riots which this is set in.
@The Conscious Observer Should be Mid 70s I would think. Tony was born in 59, and he looks to be in his mid to late teens here.
Yeah but what year is this supposed to be the 60's?
The fact they got Jamss Gandolfini's son to play Tony was awesome. Looks just like his dad and has those mannerisms down
That baby never had the makings of a varsity infant.
@Andrew Laird Thanks, Sir.
This is an underrated comment.
Please make this a series!!!!! this is gold!!!!!!
They supposedly gonna make it into movie franchise 🤞
Where's the jacket?
This is gonna be fire
Oh no thats not good. I think and hope it will be great and not a dumpster fire. Have faith in David Chase!
We need more interior decorators
@Scottish Suzuki must be all the Czechoslovakians
His house looked like sh*t
Christopher RUN!! 🏃♂️ 🏃♂️
I can’t wait!!!!
Looks like fun
